Today the rescue squad saved 29 lives on the Sacramento River. The county will now cut the number of rescue personal by 50%
Police have greatly lowered the number of gang murders thanks to a gang task force the police are using. Due to budget cuts that program will no longer exist.
Fire and police personal are being drastically cut. Obviously critical response times will be increased.
Teachers hold the key to the nations future. Budget cuts are hitting all school systems grade school through universities. The future is not a top priority today.
